Calm In The Chaos (Paint Daubs)
|
I took these photos in a forest by my house. I like to go to this forest to take a walk and look at nature. I recently found this spot which I think would be a nice place to sit and read. I really like how the sun is showing through the trees. With this photo, I was trying to convey a sense of calm and openness. I am really glad I came at this time of day to take photos because I really like how the lighting turned out.

Blooming (Paint Daubs)
|
This is a picture of Creeping Thistle. I decided to take this picture because I really liked the flower. I almost never see the flower because I always remove the leaves, which hurt to step on. I find this picture interesting because it represents how good things can come from traditionally "bad" things like the weed. I really like how the photos turned out because the pop of color in the flower draws your attention.

Green Across The Blue (Paint Daubs)
|
I took this photo at a pond I like to walk by when I walk with my family. I like to pass this area and see if I can find animals like turtles, ducks, and birds. I really like this area because it is really pretty and there is a lot of nature. I really liked the sun in the photo, but it was really bright, so I decided to block the sun and show the reflection. With this photo, I am trying to convey the beauty of nature. I really like how the photos turned out, especially the different shades of green in the leaves.
Growing To The Sky

Climbing Up (Paint Daubs)
|
This is an image of a vine growing up a tree. I saw this tree and liked how the vine looked. This type of plant is invasive and can displace wildlife, but it is still and interesting feature. I like how the vine helps move your eyes, and how the tree splits the image into thirds. I think this image convey a sense of chaos.
Field Of Wonder

Waving In The Wind (Paint Daubs)
|
I took this photo in a field in the country side. I really liked how the plants look really wild, but they still look like they belong. I had a hard time with editing this photo, especially the painting filter, because the thin parts of the plant that stick up towards the background sometimes disappeared because of the filter. I wish I came earlier in the day, because it looks darker than I wish, but I was unable to do so.
